Flexible rates
Our rates adapt to your stay and vary by season, number of guests, number of villas and length of stay. There are discounts for long stays, multi-villa bookings and returning guests.
Deposit and cancellation
Confirm your booking with a 40% deposit. It’s non-refundable, but you can apply it to a future reservation under the same name. Need flexibility? Just write to us.

Email confirmation
As soon as your payment is approved, the booking is confirmed instantly in our system and your reference number is shown on screen. We email you the confirmation with all the details, usually within minutes and no later than 24 hours. Didn’t get it? Write to us and we’ll resend it.

How much is the deposit?
A deposit of 40% of the total is required to confirm the booking and lock in your dates.
What is the cancellation policy?
The deposit is non-refundable, but you can apply it to a future reservation under the same name. Need flexible cancellation? Write to us and tell us about your travel plans — we’ll find a solution.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out until 11:00 AM. Early or late check-in subject to availability.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, we welcome pets. Write to us to arrange the details of your stay with your pet.
Are there any age restrictions?
In Villa Mezzanine and Villa Jungle, children under 10 are not allowed due to the spiral staircase and the outdoor stair access.
Do you host large groups?
Yes. Across all the villas there is room for 25 guests — ideal for retreats, family gatherings or groups of friends, with special rates. Write to us for a quote.
Is the WiFi good for remote work?
Yes. We have 300 Mbps fiber optic, ideal for working remotely while you enjoy paradise.
Terms and conditions
By booking on this site you are purchasing accommodation at Villas Cabuya Beach & Jungle (Cabuya, Puntarenas, Costa Rica) for the dates, villa and number of guests shown in your booking summary. Each villa and its features are described on its own page.
All prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). The total and the deposit are displayed before you pay; there are no hidden fees.
To confirm the booking, a 40% deposit of the total is charged to your Visa or Mastercard, securely processed (3-D Secure) by our payment provider First Atlantic Commerce (FAC). The remaining balance is paid on arrival. The deposit is non-refundable, but you can apply it to a future reservation under the same name.
Once the payment is approved, the booking is confirmed and you will receive an email confirmation with your reference number (usually within minutes, no later than 24 hours).
Check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out until 11:00 AM. Villa Mezzanine and Villa Jungle do not admit children under 10. Pets are welcome when arranged with us in advance.
Any question or dispute about your booking or payment is handled first by contacting us directly (see Customer service). These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
Payment security
Payments are processed on the secure PowerTranz (First Atlantic Commerce) page, certified to PCI DSS Level 1, over an encrypted TLS connection. Your card details are entered directly on that page and never touch or get stored on our servers.
Every Visa or Mastercard payment is authenticated with 3-D Secure (Visa Secure / Mastercard ID Check), an extra verification layer from your issuing bank that protects the transaction against fraud.
Privacy policy
To manage your booking we only collect the details you give us in the forms: name, email, phone and your stay details (dates, villa, guests). We use them to process the booking, send you the confirmation and assist you before and during your visit.
Your card details are entered directly on the secure payment page of First Atlantic Commerce (FAC), our payment processor. They never pass through our servers and we never store them.
We share your details only with the services needed to operate the booking: our booking engine (Beds24) and the payment processor. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to villascabuya@gmail.com.
